To log into the portal, you must have a valid X509 certificate and key
installed in your $HOME/.globus directory on the machine at which the XCAT
Science Portal is running. Please see the documentation for your site
for information about obtaining a certificate.
Each machine you want to launch jobs on must have a gateekeper and
gsiftp server installed (either 1.1.[34] or 2.0beta).
Java:
Java 1.1.3 must be installed on each machine you want to launch jobs on.
(Note: there is a pacman wrapper available in the IU cache)
