Description

GridSphere is a portal framework we are using to build the LEAD portal.

Layout

This describes where files are located in the GridSphere installation in lead:/home/lead-portal. Note these files are owned by user apadmin and by group apadmin, so if you are in group apadmin, you should be able to deploy a portlet to tomcat without having to be user apadmin.

• gridsphere/ - gridsphere installation
• tomcat/ - tomcat installation
• LOG - installation log and notes
• portlets/ - directory with template files
  • gridsphere-velocity-template/ - template files for setting up a GridSphere portlet, with some velocity specific stuff
• ogce/ - directory with OGCE installation
• scripts/ - directory with some utility scripts
  • bashrc - helpful to source this first as user apadmin
• UsingGridSphere.txt - some notes on the GridSphere installation and tomcat installation (ports, passwords, etc)
• GridSpherePortlets.txt - some notes on what you need to add to a portlet to make it available to GridSphere
