Overview

XMessages implementation provides a simple to use approach to send and receive XML based application messages that uses SOAP 1.1 and WSDL.

Using XMessages

Most of XMessages functionality is implemented using Java and includes implementation messaging infrastructure (services) so please make sure to read Java related documentation

We also message publishing library in C that implementation in C++ but has C bindings that can be linked with C programs on Solaris/Linux/IRIX and therefore work with FORTRAN programs as well.

XMessages Visualizer

We have also XMessages Visualizer that can be used to monitor graphically events and messages. Current implementation has sample machine utilization event visualization implemented.

Xavana: integrating with other messaging systems

We are also a bridge to other messaging systems. Xavana offers the chance for XMessages to deliver messages across network boundaries such as firewalls, etc. and to other message systems (such as JMS and Narada) For more documentation see Xavana docs.
