User Roles
- Component Developers write the actual component code. They need
to provide static information pertaining to the various installations of
the component. This information may be uploaded to a directory service for
easy access.
- Application Developers compose the application and hence have
knowledge about the components that make up this application, how they are
connected and ports of the appreciation that need to be exposed. These
users provide static structural information about the application, so that
the basic application framework can be constructed.This requires a
knowledge about the various installations of the individual
components.
- End users provide only dynamic information about the
application, which can be as little as the machines to launch the
constituent components. Once the application has been instantiated the end
user may need information to contact the application. This may be the
actual WSDL describing the application or address of registry service with
which the WSDL has been registered.
